Our mission is to educate, empower, and inspire people of marginalized communities to advance equality and equal opportunity. In 2017 Dezjorn International LLC officially partnered with #GivingTuesday, a global movement in all 50 states and in countries worldwide, where millions of people demonstrate the common capacity to give. Helping raise over $19k it was then we knew it was time to open our non profit. Dezjorn R. Gauthier Academic Award

The annual DRG Academic award was established in 2015 in honor of the CEO himself. Sir Gauthier has a strong belief in academics and scholarly study, “If I can ignite one more educated flame, thats one more light making the world a brighter place” states Gauthier. The award is granted for transgender students of color pursuing an education in criminal justice and legal studies at an academic level beginning with high school seniors through graduate studies. The award is one of the highest recognized by Dezjorn International LLC. Award is based on career goals, character, recommendations, academic record, and resume/activities/volunteer.

Dorothy J. Carr Academic Award

On July 23, 2015 Dorothy Carr was diagnosed with Stage Four Cancer in her colon which slowly spread to her liver and kidneys. Ms. Carr has always been a fighter from civil rights to her battle of cancer.
On Nov 1, 2016 the Dorothy J. Carr Fund was established by youngest son, Dezjorn Gauthier, to promote education among youth of color in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Dorothy believed that every child can strive for excellence.
Today, we remember the legacy of Dorothy J Carr who passed on 11/12/16.
